Investors
For those investing in real estate or business.
Validity: 10 YEARS
A. Real Estate Investors
- Minimum property investment: AED 2 million (can be multiple properties).
- Property must be paid at least 40% (off-plan or mortgaged beyond certain limits).
- Eligible through both individual and jointly owned properties (subject to approval).
B. Business/Public Investment Investors
- Investment of AED 2 million in:
- A company’s capital, or
- An accredited investment fund in the UAE
- Must provide proof of financial solvency (not loan-based capital)
Entrepreneurs
For founders of innovative startups or owners of registered companies.
Validity: 5 YEARS
Eligibility
- Own or partner in a project worth at least AED 500,000, or
- Have approval for an innovative idea from an official UAE business incubator, or
- Have a prior project sold for AED 7 million or more
Outstanding Students & Graduates
Validity:5 or 10 YEARS
A. School Students
- Must be from UAE-based schools
- Minimum score: 95% or above in secondary school
- Recommendation from the Ministry of Education required
B. University Students (UAE or abroad)
- GPA of 3.8 or higher from top UAE universities, or
- Graduates from top 100 global universities, with:
- GPA ≥ 3.5
- Graduation within the last 2 years
Skilled Professionals
Validity: 10 YEARS
Eligibility
- Employment in the UAE under Level 1 or Level 2 job categories (as per MOHRE)
- Minimum monthly salary: AED 30,000
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Active employment contract in a UAE-based company
- Examples: doctors, engineers, IT professionals, legal experts, educators, scientists, etc.
Scientists & Researchers
Validity: 10 YEARS
- Must be recommended by the Emirates Scientists Council
- Must have notable research achievements or research grant support
- Typically includes PhD holders and professionals in science, engineering, technology, and health
Creative Professionals
For people of culture and art.
Validity: 10 YEARS
- Must be approved by the Ministry of Culture and Youth
- Includes artists, authors, designers, filmmakers, musicians, etc.
Doctors & Medical Professionals
Validity: 10 YEARS
- Licensed practitioners in the UAE
- Recognized qualification and experience in a medical field of national importance
- Approved by the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention
Exceptional Talents (Across Fields)
Validity: 10 YEARS
- Granted based on talent, not academic qualifications
- Includes inventors, innovators, athletes, and digital tech experts
- Requires endorsement by relevant UAE government body
Family Members of Golden Visa Holders
- Spouse and children (no age limit) are eligible for the same visa duration
- Domestic staff (unlimited number) can also be sponsored
Posthumous (Retirement) Golden Visa
Validity: 5 YEARS
- For retired residents aged 55 or above
- Must meet one of the following:
